Response to the Southern California Wildfires
Many of you have read or watched the devastating wildfires that occurred in Southern California, that sadly resulted in many losing their homes and lives.
My husband, an Altadena native with family still living there, watched on television as the majority of his hometown was incinerated.
Although many lives were sadly changed or lost, the optimism and community solidarity is still alive.
A New Day
One of the many things I love about Altadena is not only the deep black history, but the community. The diversity. The residents look out for one another. It’s absolutely beautiful.
